Scarred Emotions

Suicidal love; 

A personal attempted murder

Emotions left naked

And heart abandoned,

Arrested by unspoken agony

And imprisoned by 3 am thoughts

That escaped to 8 am

And sliced optimism's throat

Misery bleeds out, and I watch smiling

Love's wings snipped

Alongside questions; multiple choice

I constantly fail at

When I chose all the above for you;

Paralyzed

Amputated sober thoughts

The perfection of life,

Vicariously through death

Lungs evacuated

Alone I sit; 

Happily broken inside
