Whispers of faith tip toe on ear lobes

Empty prayers

Submerged

Into my darkest thoughts

And the echoes of mortality

Staring back at

The beast within,

It rages,

Brewing in cauldrons of ache

Feeding on Karma's inability to reciprocate.

It growls inside

As my heart grows murky

And compassion suffocates aloud.

I feel it scratch at my smile

Joy leaks out,

And it shows it's teeth

Enticed by empty shadows

The beauty of sun down;

Painted skylines

That eventually weep in darkness,

Or my soul, subtle differences

Horizon's of suicide and overcoming

Surgical smiles

Attached to undisclosed fears

Inhaled by Hell's throne

I sit atop of

Recalculating directions.

Estimated time of arrival,

Death;

The rebirth of myself
